Accessibility Statement
Last Updated: 3/26/2026
Design is for everyone.
I don’t just talk about accessibility—I live it. To me, a website that looks good but doesn’t work for a person using a screen reader or a keyboard isn’t “good design.” It’s unfinished.
My goal is to make this site (and every project I touch) easy to use for everyone, regardless of their physical, sensory, or cognitive abilities.
What I’m doing about it
I am constantly working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA standards. Here’s what that looks like in practice on this site:
- Clear Contrast: I use high-contrast colors so the text is easy to read.
- Logical Layouts: Everything is organized so it makes sense when read by assistive technology.
- Keyboard Friendly: You should be able to navigate this entire site without ever touching a mouse.
- Plain Language: I try to ditch the jargon and write in a way that’s simple and direct.
Where I’m still growing
Accessibility is a journey, not a destination. As the web evolves, I’m always learning better ways to build. If you find a part of this site that is difficult to use or doesn’t feel inclusive, I want to hear about it.
Found a snag? Let me know.
If you’re having trouble or have suggestions on how I can do better, please reach out. I take this stuff seriously and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.
